.: My Interests :.
.: Wolves: Wolves have always been my life's 'passion'. I do'nt think that'll stop anytime soon. It's no fad, like beanie babies, pokemon cards, or even horses - oh no. This one has stuck with me since before I can even remember! And my interest has only been expanding as my education widens every day. This passed summer I was given the gift - yes it was a true gift - of going to Wolf Camp and was privledged to meet Nightsong (Jess) our Guild's Alpha and Frighty (Jessy), my longest, online friend. It was an amazing experience I wouldn't trade in for the world.
.: Flute: I have been playing flute for four years now. I must say that I don't practice as much as I should... but I play a level 5/6 out of a possible 7. This scale goes even for professionals, so I'm pretty happy at the place I am now. Since 6th grade I have been 1st chair of our band. This year I'm looking to do the same, despite the challenge of the awesomely-annoying Danielle Sheer.
.: Hip Hop Dance: I don't exactly know when I started hip-hop dancing... but I know now that it is one of my greatest joys. I don't do it competatively, or even take classes, but I love learning routines and hope someday that I'll be able to join a team.
.: The Music :.
.: Maroon 5: What is there to say about Maroon 5? They are absolutely an amazing band. Unique, fresh, everything you could ask for. Their album - I cannot stop listening to. Of all, my favorite track would definately have to be 'She Will Be Loved' but the other songs do not fall to short.
.: Kanye West: Of all rappers... this is one of the very very few that I like. And I must admit, I like him alot. His lyrics are powerful and they're not all about sex, drugs, and money. He's unique and a wonderful poet. Through all the turmoil he has gone through, he remains strong - and writes even more inspiring songs then I have heard anywhere. There's a ton o' humor in his record "College Dropout" as well. My favorite track would have to be track 8, 'Never Let Me Down' which features Jay-Z and Ivy.
.: Audioslave: This band is one not widely known - but one that definately should be. When I first heard them on 94.9 Zeta, I was blown away with their first single 'Cochise' and their second, 'Like A Stone' as of then they haven't seen to have come out with any new songs, to my displeasure, but the C.D. keeps me satisfied.

.: The Olympic Friends :.
In this passed Olympics taking place in Athens, Greece, I have had 4 close friends take place in the competition. I wasn't able to catch most of them, but I'm sure our team has video taped their races. Anyways, I wish them good luck in the rest of their careers, and here they are!
.: Bradley Ally - Breastroke - Barbados
.: Ismail Ortiz - Sprint Freestyle - Panama
.: Minji Shim - 100 Meter Backstroke - Korea
.: Jillian Morrison - 200 Meter Breastroke - USA
Also, I must have some favorite Olympians besides those listed above! So here goes my list. (Mua ha ha ha!)
"I want my Paul Hammburger with that Phelpy Cheese Steak and Thorpechops!" - Hambone
.: Mikey Phelps: Oh my goodness... how can you not love this boy? He's nearly reached the highest bar that Mark Spitz set long ago, and he's still goin' strong. Not to mention his simply charming good looks!
.: Ian Thorpe: Another charmin' Olympian! He and Mikey up there have always been somewhat rivals, yet have always remained on good terms. I know they admire each other - and they should. Once practice was rained out, and we watched this movie "Ian Thorpe, Man Beneath the Suit" We found out that he helps out with kids and donates to tons of charities. Plus - his Australian accent always puts a smile on my face!
.: Natalie Coughlin: Definately one of my role-models. She's continued to amaze us all through thick and thin. And the greatest part is that I can actually relate to her. She once said that she hated practice and swimming altogether. How can you not get more real then that? Never give up - that's what she taught me.
