Vocal Communication
The vocal communication of wolves is very hard to differentiate. Yelps can be used for many a different task such as, playfullness, whining, attention-getting, hungriness, and many more. Barks can be used agressively, playfully, protectively, etc. Howling is usually used for gathering of pack mates or for pre-hunt rituals. An interesting fact about howling is that it is as unique as a homo sapien's finger prints.
