Above: Above is the full frame of a gray wolf. As you may see, it is very similar to the domestic dog or Canis familiaris. They differ in some ways, however. The domestic dog obviously varies between great dane and bichon frise, but besides that, they differ in length and height of legs, mostly.

Below: Below is a diagram of a dire wolf's skull. The teeth, however, are the same in any wolf. This is also relatively similar to the domestic dog, but the teeth again differ in length and width.
